We started our business in March 2020 with one simple goal: to make the best spirits we possibly can!
We’ve worked in the drinks industry for a long time and have been fortunate enough to travel around the UK & Europe visiting distilleries and spending time with renowned Master Distillers. Throughout this time, we’ve learned what it takes to make an exceptional spirit.

We started distilling as a hobby in late 2019 for personal consumption and after some time started to share the spirits we were creating with friends and family. It didn’t take long for them to tell us that we were making some pretty good booze and that we should start selling it! So that’s what we did. On the 11th March 2020 we incorporated Charles & Mike Distilling Ltd at Companies House and made a run at it!
MEET
Charles, Mike & Vicki
We are an unconventional bunch but we wouldn’t have it any other way and we make for a powerful team. We all met in our previous lives working in Travel Retail across the UK Market and we are thrilled we can now put our raw passion into building a brand from the ground up. Charles is the business and finance guy, Mike the Master Distiller and Vicki our Sales Manager which for her also includes keeping the boys in line!

Our goals for the future
We are so proud and humbled with how well Big Seven has landed in the UK. We’ve been fortunate enough to release 3 variations of this: London Dry, Blackberry & Persian Lime. But we are not a Gin company, we are a Distillery. The future for us is very exciting and there are multiple projects being worked on currently. It’s just us, we don’t have any big corporate backers or anything like that so this means we can and will only release new spirits when they are absolutely ready and we think they are amazing. 2022 is a very exciting year for us in terms of new product launches and how we elevate the brand and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on!
