Description

The Big Seven range is all about big flavour and there is no exception with our blackberry gin. With its colour purely driven from the blackberries it’s infused with, this rich and opulent expression is packed with flavour.

Taste

On the nose this is still a Juniper forward gin but with a light and fruity Blackberry note. To taste, the gin is smooth and rich as you can taste the Blackberry which sits and blends perfectly with the Juniper and has a long finish with a taste of blackberry and a light chamomile aroma.

Botanicals

This Gin starts life as the London Dry which is distilled with Juniper, Lemongrass, Angelica Root, Cassia Bark, Chamomile, Grapefruit Peel & Bay Leaf. We then infuse this spirit with Blackberries before re-distilling the spirit and re-infusing for maximum quality and flavour.

Serves

A versatile gin as it’s still Juniper forward however we’d recommend having this with a handful of ice and an elderflower tonic to enhance your G&T. If you’re feeling really fancy, drop a measure of this in a flute of Prosecco or Champagne for the ultimate drink.

BLACKBERRY NEGRONI

You’ll need: A tumbler glass, 30ml of Blackberry Big Seven gin, 30ml of
Campari,  30ml Rosso Vermouth. Few blackberries to garnish.

Method

1. Load up your glass with ice.
2. Add gin, Campari, and Vermouth to your glass.
3. Stir gently and mix.
4. Serve with a few Blackberries for Garnish.

BLACKBERRY BRAMBLE

You’ll need: A small tumbler glass, 50ml of Blackberry Big Seven gin, 25ml
of lemon juice,  ¾ tbsp of sugar syrup, ¾  tbsp Blackberry liqueur such as
Crème de mure. Few blackberries to garnish.

Method

1. Load up you cocktail shaker with ice
2. Add gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup.
3. Shake it like a polaroid picture.
4. Fill your glass with crushed ice.
5. Pour over the shaken mix
6. Drizzle your Blackberry Liqueur
7. Garnish with a few blackberries.

BLACKBERRY GIN SLING

You’ll need: A highball glass, 60ml of Blackberry Big Seven gin, 60ml of lemon juice, 40ml of sugar syrup, 7 Blackberries, Rosemary sprigs, Soda.

Method

1. Muddle blackberries and rosemary sprigs in your glass.

2. Add gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup and stir.

4. Fill your glass with ice.

5. Top up with Soda

6. Garnish with sprig of rosemary and a couple of blackberries
