Well, what can I say we had the BEST and busiest summer, we took Big Seven on the road and it was EPIC!!

Our summer started with the Foodies Festival at Syon house our first big festival were we nervous yes, were we up for it hell yeah!!

Hotel booked, new van filled we hit this event hard for 3 days giving Big Seven its first proper festival. Our friends and customers came from all around London and further afield to celebrate the occasion something we are so thankful for.

My memories of this first festival will be ones I reflect on quite a bit from the learnings to the £8 chips. We took the opportunity to release our beer made in collaboration with Redchurch brewery and our New Persian Lime Gin which went down a treat!

We followed this up with Oxford Foodies, again a great 3 days, sadly I couldnt be there but Vicki loved it!

After starting work at 4am and finishing work at 2pm on the Monday, I made the long trip over to Oxford and back with the speed limited van to help end the day and collect all the equipment. When I eventually got there I got to watch Scouting for Girls while Vicki continued to work hard!

We got straight back to it when the festivals ended with a few markets in West London and a few listings in some farm shops, important steps for us while we continue to grow our brand.

We finished our festival season with a Foodies Festival in Chelsmford our local event. This one we really pushed the hype for as it was just 7 miles from the distillery so we could really get out into the local area. We invited a lot of our customers to this one so we could have a G&T and enjoy the days……but it rained on Saturday, ALOT, I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a second it didn’t rain….ENTER The Charles Arms.

We took advantage of the space next to us and created The Charles Arms which kept people out of the rain, we even had a Saturday night, late night lock in!

We had such an awesome time at Chelmsford and we made plenty of new friends, we even got to host 100 people every day in the drinks tent! So thank you if you attended one of our sessions. A HUGE thank you to our friends and customers who braved the rain and came down for a chat or a drink with us while we where at Chelmsford we really do appreciate you.

All in all a successfull summer for Big Seven, and we have already booked up plenty for next summer.

New products are on the horrizon with work on new B7 to, all coming in 2022 I’m very much looking forward to it
